IMAGE completed the detailed mechanical design for the Tenawa Haven Gas plant which is a 1.3 BCFD dual-train cryogenic NGL extraction plant designed for both high Ethane recovery and Ethane rejection. The plant is engineered to deliver world class operating efficiency, consuming only 0.7% of the plant inlet’s BTU content. The plant provides treating service to three major pipelines - 26", 24", & 18" which combine to a single 30” plant inlet operating at 800-870 PSIG. Over 95% of the piping (totaling over 27,000 feet of process and utility piping) was built, tested, and painted in Houston area shops and then shipped to the location for installation. This approach was considered very successful and resulted in minimal field rework. The plant commissioned for service in May of 2015.
